A culture of unconditional care for children, for parents and for each other
Our team of highly qualified and trained staff are there to provide positive role models for the children in our care. Central to our ethos is honesty, empathy, respect and trust. We know that the best of care can only be delivered through solid and effective leadership and we are confident in, and very proud of our management team. Without their passion and dedication, we could not promise the kind of quality experience that you, and we, so rightly insist on.
B.A. (Hons.) Early Years and Education, MInstLM
I have over 25 years experience in childcare, starting as a young mum to 2 boys and a childminder to running my own nursery, I never fail to be amazed by childhood. I managed Hopes and Dreams Nursery, (our operating company founded back in 2002) at the local village school, becoming owner in 2008 and taking it forward to our move to Hatton in 2012. I am deeply aware that there is no greater responsibility than the care of the children entrusted to me by a parent. Children can have you in stitches of laughter on minute and bring a tear to your eye the next and, for that reason alone I wouldn’t work in any other profession.
Any nursery is only ever as good as the people who work there, we recognize that our team is our strength and we promote a culture of care, care for the children, care for parents and care for each other. Every team member is supported and encouraged to follow a programme of Continual Personal Development including courses in Leadership, Special Needs or Sign Language. We also insist that every member of staff attend regular training in Pediatrics First Aid, Food Hygiene and Child Protection.
