About Us

🌟 We don’t just offer childcare, we provide an unforgettable childhood experience filled with adventure and learning, giving your child simply the idyllic start to life 🌟

Hatton Children’s Nursery provides a caring, safe, and enriching environment for children from Birth – 5 years, offering flexible hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with early starts available from 7:30 AM. We are open for 51 weeks of the year (closed for 1 week during Christmas and bank holidays) proudly offering an experience that no other nursery in the area can match. Unlike standard nurseries, we provide an extraordinary rural setting in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside, conveniently located within easy reach by both road and rail. Just off the A46 and M40, only minutes away from Warwick Parkway and Hatton train stations.

Children can immerse themselves in rolling hills, explore their very own private woodland with exciting forest school activities, and nurture a large vegetable garden, all while benefiting from our enriching curriculum which combines hands-on experiences with structured early years education, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. Through play, discovery, and real-world activities, children develop essential skills that prepare them for a bright future.

What sets us apart?

🌿 Unrivalled Outdoor Adventures – While many nurseries offer a playground, we give children the freedom to roam in vast open spaces, enjoy nature walks, and discover the magic of the great outdoors every day.

đŸŸ Hands-On Animal Care – Instead of just learning about animals in books, our children actively care for guinea pigs, chickens, and other friendly creatures, developing responsibility, empathy, and confidence.

đŸŒ± A Real Working Vegetable Garden & Seasonal Harvesting – Unlike other nurseries, we give children hands-on experience in planting, nurturing, and harvesting their own produce, fostering an early love for healthy eating and sustainability. Throughout the year, they get to enjoy seasonal activities like pumpkin picking, gathering sweetcorn and potatoes, and harvesting juicy strawberries—all grown right in our very own fields. It’s a truly immersive farm-to-table experience that makes learning about food both fun and rewarding!

🎡 Daily Access to Hatton Adventure World – No other nursery offers daily trips to a top-rated children’s attraction, where your little ones can enjoy exciting activities and adventure play. Plus, they benefit from exclusive use of the sensory and soft play areas, providing a safe, stimulating environment to develop motor skills, enhance sensory exploration, and have endless fun!

🏡 A Home-Away-From-Home – Our warm and nurturing environment, paired with a highly qualified and caring team, ensures every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

We have a clear vision to give children the very best start in life and we offer a truly idyllic start to life, priding ourselves on creating a home from home; a place where your children’s happiness and welfare is paramount. Our unique setting gives each child the opportunity to grow in harmony with nature in a safe, caring and fun environment.

As part of their daily routine, children enjoy a morning stroll around Hatton Adventure World, to visit the animals and explore the beautiful grounds, and enjoy some adventure play. They also benefit from private use of the expansive indoor soft play centre, which includes a dedicated sensory play area for babies enriched with tactile experiences to spark curiosity and encourage early development. These unique experiences are seamlessly integrated into our curriculum, supporting physical, social, and cognitive growth through hands-on learning and play. After their exciting outings, children return to nursery for a rich blend of structured education, engaging activities, and, most importantly, fun!

Where else can your child collect fresh eggs from the chickens they’ve helped care for, take home fruit and vegetables they’ve grown in their very own garden patch, or help look after their very own guinea pigs or chickens? Children develop a sense of responsibility and empathy as they feed, groom, and interact with the animals. They also embark on nature walks, pick flowers, and learn about the surrounding wildlife—all within the vibrant backdrop of the farm setting. It’s a place where hands-on experiences ignite curiosity, foster a love for learning, and encourage discovery, all while having endless fun through play and exploration.

As an Ofsted-registered childcare setting, we are proud to have been rated ‘Good’ in our latest inspection. We adhere to the statutory welfare and educational requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring our provision meets strict learning, development, and care standards. Ofsted praised our staff for the way they fully support children’s independent choices, allowing them to take the lead in their own learning while being guided and nurtured by our team.

Research from The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood highlights the crucial role a child’s environment plays in early development. Access to nature and outdoor spaces has been shown to enhance both physical and mental well-being. We are incredibly proud to provide all our children with the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the great outdoors, surrounded by nature within our expansive nursery grounds.

Additionally, every child attending Hatton Children’s Nursery receives a FREE Complimentary Annual Membership to Hatton Adventure World, giving them year-round access to the exciting neighbouring attraction. Plus, up to 2 additional adults can enjoy 50% off a membership, allowing families to join in the fun all year long!

“Unlike many owners and some other nurseries I personally like to ensure that most of my day is spent in contact with our children, after all that’s why I chose this vocation. I aim to see all parents each day and always endeavour to build a personal rapport and a trusting, open and honest relationship with our parents and carers. My happiest moments are seeing each child flourish, develop and grow in our care, it is always sad when children move on and go to school leaving us, but we feel happy knowing they leave us having had the very best start to their early years. Our vision for the future is to continue to build and expand on the magical opportunities that our children enjoy since becoming a part of the experience that is Hatton Adventure World and I do hope you and your child consider us for this adventure”.
